about Digital Media Advertising, Toronto

DMA, also known as Digital Media Advertising, was founded in 2002 by Rick Li and Mike Kephalas who met while attending Ryerson University in Toronto.

With their backgrounds in IT and business management, they decided to start their very own digital advertising company. Their goal was to create a new form of advertising that is affordable and effective. Utilizing today’s cutting edge technology sets them apart from traditional approaches and methods of advertising.

In March 2007, DMA formed a joint venture with Inferno Orange Technology Ltd. With this partnership, DMA has become the complete solution provider for digital signage systems in Toronto.

With those ideas in mind, our slogan "message in motion" was born.

THROW AWAY YOUR FLYERS! With today’s ever changing advertising market, clients like to be wowed! Traditional advertising mediums are rapidly being replaced by their digital counterparts. After traveling to the Far East, I have realized how quickly the digital advertising market has grown in 5 years.

Sleek, sophisticated flat panels are slowly replacing traditional signage from small retail stores to the franchised giants. The most recent Toronto 'Digital Signage' improvements are the TTC subway tunnel signage system, consisting of more than 100 screens located throughout the subway line. Tim Horton’s has recently installed flat panel signage system displaying their promotions and community events in most of its stores.

Often our clients have the misconception that Digital Signage systems are expensive. What sets us apart from our competitors is our highly skilled technical and design teams. Each team member possesses specialized skills that save you money and time.
